A Group can have a mix of resident-types and be determined purely based on price-range and location, or can be specifically for a certain type of resident in a specific location and price range (Examples: only religious, only secular, only singles, only older couples, only families with small children, only Olim from one specific country etc; or specifically desiring a 50/50 mix of Olim and Israelis, or specifically wanting a mix of Olim from many countries). 

When your Group has enough members, we'll connect it to vetted trustworthy real-estate companies who will compete to arrange the best deal for the Group. And in some cases, your Group can benefit from mentoring by one of the major Olim non-profit organizations, helping the Group make important housing decisions. 
If the Group is large enough, it can buy an entire building, resulting in an even greater discount. If the building is still in the planning stage, a Group  with similar needs can be in touch with the architect and design it to reflect their common needs or interests (Examples: Add a basement-gym, or recreation-area for children, a rooftop sports area, underground parking, a synagogue or community-room; re-design the interior to have home-offices or granny flats built-in, divide two large bedrooms into a few small ones, etc.)  

You most likely arrived at this site via a link in an email sent to you by one of these organizations: the Sochnut (JAFI), Nefesh be Nefesh, TELFED, the AACI, OLEI (Latin America) or perhaps a different organization assisting olim. Some of the organizations have indicated that they may assign a staff-member to occasionally interact directly with olim Groups on the Site in order to facilitate successful formation of coherent Groups.

Together with trustworthy and experienced real estate agents, they and we will guide your Group through the process, from the first stage of specifying the parameters for your Housing-Group in the most useful way, to the end-result of buying your new home and creating your new community in Israel, all together with other olim like yourself.

We are a company, one of those Israeli 'start-ups' you hear about, but we are just profit-oriented: we are Olim ourselves, located in Jerusalem and dedicated to helping make Aliyah successful. Instead of charging  you for our service of creating Groups and intermediating with real-estate agents, we will get some small piece of the real-estate agent's commission. However, we are committed to work only with reputable dependable estate agencies, who can get you a lower price than you would get from the builder on your own; the price you'll get will likely be a few percent below the market-rate for what you're buying.

It is simply to enable us to be able to suggest possible Groups for you to join. And even when you do join a Group, it is without commitment to stick with the Group or to buy anything.
